The story of

Osmena Pearl Therapy

and Jennifer R.

The meaning of Osmena Pearl

Jennifer’s fascination with how nature reflects our lives and her unique approach to bodywork is how the name Osmena Pearl Therapy was created. Osmena Pearl is not a pearl at all it is actually the inner layer of shell from the chambered nautilus.

The spiral shell consists of a series of chambers that are larger than the next. As the nautilus outgrows its shape the shell enlarges and creates additional chambers that will provide a new sustainable environment for the next stage of life. This creature is always growing and adapting so it may survive and thrive in the world around it. A perfect representation of one’s physical, mental, and spiritual growth. It suggests that we are forever growing, changing and evolving into a better self than the next.

Metaphysically, this rainbow iridescent shell holds properties that manifest gentle energy, nurturing on all levels, bringing love and gentleness. Osmena Pearl creates intuition, imagination and adaptability. Physically, it is used to help with issues of the nerves and muscles.

Osmena Pearl Therapy is a reflection of Jennifer’s unique and passionate approach to bodywork.

The Power

of

Jennifer

Jennifer has been a practicing bodyworker since 2005. She specializes in Therapeutic Massage, Deep Work, Prenatal Massage, Acupressure, Tui Na, and Craniosacral Therapy. Her style of work is a unique and intuitive blend of bodywork techniques and energy work that facilitate relaxation, healing, balance, and promotes physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

Always fascinated with anatomy and physiology, movement, and a genuine need to help others she was searching for a career that would embody all these attributes and one she could ultimately be happy doing. In the spring of 2005 she decided to take her first bodywork class which happen to be Acupressure and knew after that first day she had found her calling. After surviving a life-threatening illness that same year it was bodywork and Pilates that played a key role in her recovery, both physically and emotionally. She decided to complete her certification in both so she could share the benefits with those in need like she was. The power of touch, movement, and breath have the ability to strengthen and heal the body, mind, and spirit and give rise to empowerment and longevity.

By maintaining open communication and individual attention with each of her clients she not only aims to help her clients with any issues presented, but to empower and encourage them to be aware of how they can be a part of their own healing process. Jennifer believes that integrating and utilizing approaches, that at their core, are based on positive intention, compassion, and integrity are key in enhancing one’s overall well-being.

To share her passion for healing touch and body awareness with family and loved ones along with the community is a gift that continually opens her heart and nourishes her spirit. She hopes to be doing this work for many years to come.
